Many people look for the magic supplement or the latest workout routine that will suddenly cause them to gain muscle. Unfortunately once you try these and fall short of your goals you’re left feeling discouraged. The good news is this website will give you the information you need to obtain your goals. That is if your goals are to put on pounds of muscle in a relatively short time period.
How to Gain Weight
Gaining weight is all about consistency, diet, recovery and exercise. Focus on these four areas and you will absolutely gain weight quick. If you have tried for any length of time to gain weight, build muscle or buk up without any results you are missing or incorrectly applying one of the keys to make this happen.
Consistency
Consistency is crucial in all aspects of gaining weight. Whether we’re talking about working out, eating the right way or recovery it needs to be consistent. Day in and day out you need to be committed to your goals. If you miss a workout your mind set should not be “Oh well, I’ll make sure I do better starting next week.” It should be “Ok, I missed a workout. I need to re focus and make sure I don’t miss any workouts for the next two weeks starting right now. I need to remember my goals and re commit to them.”
Diet
Diet should be looked at as the most important part of gaining weight even above working out. The reason for this is because it can be the hardest to be consistent with. It’s hard to plan and it takes a lot of effort to keep track of each day. This is were most guys fail to reach their goals. Be sure to spend extra time looking over the diet section of this site.
Recovery
Recovery Get that sleep! This is when your muscles will grow. It’s not in the gym where your muscles get big, it’s in the bedroom. You need 7-9 hours of sleep each night in order to maximize your gains. Please don’t overlook this section or you will fall short of your goals.
Exercise
Exercise Using free weights and compound movements are key. Machines are not necessary to build serious size. You can eliminate nearly 90 percent of all gym equipment and spend 3-4 hours per week in the gym and get better results by sticking with the exercises in my ebook.
